Victory conditions

Conditions Overview
There are certain conditions that must be met in order for each faction to attain a victory. The game checks if these conditions are met when the following happens:
Checked when: |
---|
A player dies. |
Immediately after the Night Round. |
The victory conditions themselves are checked in the following order:
# | Faction |
---|---|
1 | Mafia |
2 | Camorra |
3 | Monsters |
4 | Innocents |
Once a victory condition is met for any faction, the game will immediately end and said faction will be declared the winner.
Mafia/Camorra Victory Modes
The victory conditions for Mafia and Camorra factions are exactly the same, but the conditions themselves depend on the Victory Mode set for the game mode (see !rules MODE)
Victory Mode | Condition for Victory | Notes |
---|---|---|
Annihilation | The Mafia/Camorra must be the sole surviving faction. |
|
Classic | The number of players that are of the Mafioso or Camorrista role must be equal to or greater than the number of players currently alive that are not of their faction. |
|
Standard | The number of players with the Mafioso or Camorrista role must be equal to or greater than the number of players currently alive that are not of their faction; OR the Mafia/Camorra must be the sole surviving faction. |
|
Union | The total number of players on the Mafia/Camorra Faction must be equal to or greater than the number of players currently alive that are not of their faction. |
|

Supporter Roles
During the check for an Innocents victory, all supporter roles will be considered as Innocents, regardless of whichever faction they are aligned with. The list of current supporter roles are as follow:
If the last Mafioso dies and there is at least 1 Camorrista still alive, or the last Camorrista dies and there is at least 1 Mafioso still alive, then all supporter roles—except for the Lawyer—that are aligned with the faction that lost their Mafioso/Camorrista will switch alignment to the other faction.
However, if the last Mafioso or Camorrista is converted into a Monster, or there are no Mafiosi or Camorrista alive, then there are only three ways in which a supporter role allied with Mafia or Camorra can win:
- A Mafioso or Camorrista that is on the supporter role's aligned faction is revived into the game.
- All Innocents are killed resulting in a Monster vs Supporter Role(s) showdown which they proceed to win.
- The Supporter Role(s) is converted into a Monster.
As well as the above, the Lawyer and Village Idiot have additional ways in which they can win:
Village Idiot
When a Priest uses the !exorcize NICKNAME command on a Village Idiot, the evil is driven out of the Village Idiot and they are turned into an Innocents-aligned Citizen. The former Village Idiot will become Mute as a result of the shock, however.
Lawyer
The Lawyer is currently the only Rogue role meaning that by default, it will lose. For a Lawyer to win, it must successfully defend a non-Monster player from being executed with the !defend NICKNAME command. Each time a non-Monster player is defended, their faction is jotted down in the Lawyer's casebook. The Lawyer will win with the faction it has defended the most.
The Nuclear Holocaust
Games now have a maximum duration in days, which depends on the mode being played and the amount of players who started the game (0.35 * players + modifier). This prevents games from taking way too long. In the day before the end, players will be warned that the government has decided to wipe out the crime in the city by destroying it. One day later, the city is blown to smithereens by large amounts of nuclear missiles. All the remaining players die at the same time, and the game ends in a draw(all players lose).
