This powerful character can't kill directly, but he can however cause deep changes in the course of the game. Like the Village Idiot, the Necromancer can use the mafia channel, but cannot murder. He does not count for the mafia victory. However, UNLIKE the village idiot, he is NOT immune to detective investigation. Also, he can be disabled by the prostitute.

While the necromancer's ability seem to be a valuable asset, it obviously has plenty of weaknesses. You should remind yourself and other mafia players that your alignment doesn't count towards your factions numbers towards victory, you are not immune to investigation and most players consider the necromancers only true ability the !confuse command.

An evil sorcerer with mastery of the dark arts, once the town grew big enough the Necromancer lusted for chaos and power enough to offer his services to the organized crime families. Every night he will cast his malevolent spells on the Innocents in an attempt to confuse them and drive them towards ultimate doom. However, because he's unable to actually kill or defend himself from his enemies, he can't win on his own.
