Basic Gameplay

Mafia 3.0 is a text based version of the party game. The bot act like a narrator and you follow along playing the game. There are 4 factions in the game. Innocents, Mafia, Werewolves, and Camorra (only in large games). Play consist of a night period were mafia murder, and a day period where the innocents hang someone they think is a mafioso!

Start a Game

• Once connected type !start to start a game.

Joining a Game

• After a game has been started all you need to do is to join the game. Type !join to enter a game. Once a game is started everyone who wants to join has 120 second to enter. After this time is up the bot will assign roles to all the players in the game. Mafia Role List

Factions

Every mafia game consists of factions (or teams) compeating to kill each other. The evil mafia wish to murder all people and the innocent civillians want to hang the mafia. The 4 factions are: Innocents, Mafia, Werewolf, and Camorra.

Night Round

• The game starts!
• If you are an inocent you can communicate with any of the other players by talking in the main channel. Many innocent roles have abilities that can be used in the night time.
• If you are mafia alligned you can communicate with your fellow mafia teammates by typing a m infront of your text each time you speak and decide what is to be done. This is commonly refered to as talking the the mafia channel. Each mafioso has one vote at night for whom they want to be murdered.
• If you are a Werewolf, you can choose to bite one player. Your main objective as a Werewolf is to spread your curse to as many players as possible.
• If you are a Camorra you can communitcate with your team mates by typing a r in front of any text you use. This is commonly refered to as talking in the Camorra channel. Each Cammorista has one vote for who they want to murder. This faction is almost identical to the Mafia.
• These are the 4 Factions or teams of Mafia.
• Your main objective is to win with your current team. Mafia and Camorra murder, Werewolves bite and Innocents try to hang them all!

Day Round

The day round is divided into two parts, moring and afternoon.

• Morning. In the moring we will see any people who were murdered. Players can now debate who they think the mafia is. The mafia can try and act innocent or just play it cool. After an amount of time (depending on the amount of players) the moring turns into afternoon.
• Afternoon. The afternoon has arrived. Now it is time for someone to be hanged. Every player has 1 vote for who they want to kill. Innocents want to hang a Mafia but the Mafia want an Innocent to die just as must. At the end of the afternoon someone will be dead and thus removed from the game.
• The Innocents win once every Mafia is dead and the Mafia win once they have equal numbers with the Innocents. Werewolves wins when no Mafia or Innocnts remain.
