What's new in Mafia 4.1?

Here's a complete list of 4.1 changes.

  • Profiles: Buyable sets of mode variable modifiers that apply to the user (main feature).
  • Mafia now collects several statistics around victories and defeats to allow us to detect and correct balance problems more easily.
  • New mode variable: Hide role counts (currently used in the gangsters and chaos modes). When enabled, the faction counts are displayed instead.
  • New mode variable: Vote redirection. This prevents direct votes on a complementary mode in order to group together all votes for a multipart mode.
  • Titles can now be bought.
  • Cost of RPS items including landmine now increases based on the player's stock.
  • Honor bots can now be linked to Mafia using the gateway system, allowing players to play Honor for MP rewards.
  • Point transfers command (!transfer) added. Only accounts registered with the same e-mail address can transfer and the player still pays part of the transferred points as a tax (currently 35%).
  • Auto-away added; Triggers after 30 minutes of inactivity, though never if the player is in a game (being in a game does not mean being alive but having joined it in the beginning).
  • Several fixes and tweaks as usual.
