Rules and etiquette

Rules

We don't have many rules, so make an effort to follow them.

• Do not play against your faction, suicide, give yourself away, go AFK, ... Respect the other players if you want to be respected. Sometimes this behavior will be automatically punished by the server, others a moderator will warn you and eventually ban you if you persist.

• No communication outside the game. Once again, a matter of respect and fairness. Also, do not use multiple connections simultaneously. If we ever detect this, you will be banned.

• Take it easy on new players learning the game. You were new once too. Try and help them learn.

• No spamming or flooding. If you're excited in the heat of the game you can get away with flooding once, but if you do it insistently, you will be banned.

Other Etiquette

Mafia follows many of the normal internet rules. Moderators may enforce some of these more harshly than the others.

• No extremely abusive language.
• No harassing players.
• No offensive names (mods can and will make you change these).
• Normal fighting is ok but please try and let it go after the game ends.
• Be polite. You always get more flies with honey than with vinegar.
