When ever people gather together and form a community, there are always those amoungst them that desire power over others. The Mayor of our town was elected by the people and thus holds a certain amount of sway over them.

Strategies
The mayor ability is a great asset to any role in mafia. The ability to break ties is very powerfull. If the game comes down to you and one other person, using !stop is a guarenteed way to vote them out.
